CSEIR provides technical support to governments and Ministries of Health to design and implement evidence-based SBC and health promotion strategies. We begin by diagnosing the health system barriers and community-level determinants that shape health behaviour (through structured formative research, not assumptions), then build communication strategies calibrated to what we find. Demand creation is sequenced to follow service readiness, community engagement is designed for local ownership from the outset, and monitoring frameworks ensure the strategy adapts as conditions change rather than running on autopilot.
Core Capabilities
- Formative research and health system barrier diagnosis to ground SBC strategy in evidence, not assumption
- Evidence-based SBC strategy design aligned to service readiness, with demand creation activated when supply can meet it
- Community engagement design that builds local ownership and ensures behaviour change persists beyond programme closure
- Health promotion strategy development for national and sub-national programmes, including communication planning, channel selection, and message development
- SBC monitoring frameworks and adaptive management systems to track behaviour indicators and course-correct in real time
- Capacity transfer to Ministry teams and local implementing partners to sustain SBC functions without continued external dependence
